WAIMANALO, HAWAII - A three-day symposium to provide a platform for reviewing the curent status of shrimp farming technology across the globe will occur October 13-15, 2009, at the Ala Moana Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The symposium will serve as a platform to discuss shrimp farming technologies used throughout the world. Participants will exchange information in key areas such as biosecurity (health management), genetic improvement, and environmental management. International experts will provide keynote speeches for each session.
